About Me
- Maria
- God has blessed me tremendously with an amazing husband, Doug, and two gorgeous little boys, Gavin and Joey. It has always been a dream of mine to have a large family but God may have other plans. I had a series of 6 consecutive early miscarriages when trying for baby #2. We are currently trying for baby #3 after our 7th miscarriage. I am faithful that God's plan is perfect, even when I am not happy about it. I love comments and meeting new followers so please don't be shy!

About Me
In October of 2006 I married the perfect man for me. Doug and I had talked long before the wedding about our desire for children and knew that as soon as we were married, we would start trying. After not getting pregnant right away, I started charting, using OPKs, and learning about my fertility signs. We conceived our first son after 3 months of charting. As soon as Gavin was born we were ready for more and tried for number two. We got pregnant right away and I suffered my first miscarriage at about 7 weeks. I continued to chart every month and learned so much about my body. So much so, that I managed to get pregnant 5 more times in just over a year. Despite our great luck getting positive pregnancy tests, we suffered 6 consecutive miscarriages. Our doctors ran all sorts of tests, but we never got very much in the way of answers. With my last pregnancy we managed to go all 40 weeks and have our second son, Joseph who was worth every tear I ever cried when coping with my losses. Doug and I are now starting down the journey of trying again for a third and can only hope that we can have another successful pregnancy without reliving the pain of miscarriage again.
I am a stay at home mom and I love every second of it.
I am a firm believe that mothers should be the ones to raise their children and help them grow and learn.
While I was raised a Catholic, I never really had a relationship with God until I met and married Doug.
My relationship with Him had grown since becoming a mother and I turned to Him for comfort from my losses.
I hope to help other women on their journey to have a family, expand their family, cope with losses, all while remaining faithful to our creator.
