About Me

My photo
God has blessed me tremendously with an amazing husband, Doug, and two gorgeous little boys, Gavin and Joey. It has always been a dream of mine to have a large family but God may have other plans. I had a series of 6 consecutive early miscarriages when trying for baby #2. We are currently trying for baby #3 after our 7th miscarriage. I am faithful that God's plan is perfect, even when I am not happy about it. I love comments and meeting new followers so please don't be shy!

Calling All Moms of Two or More

Yesterday morning Gavin woke up with the sniffles and over the course of the day, his sniffles turned into full blown congestion, low grade fever, and just feeling yucky. He actually snuggled with Doug on the couch and fell asleep. That hasn't happened since Gavin was about 8 months old. With a little Tylenol and some Vicks VapoRub, he got a good night sleep and today he is doing better but has a cough from drainage. But this is my real question... when you have more than one kid do you just graciously accept that both or all of your kids are going to get sick? I am trying to be vigilant about having Gavin not touch Joey's hands or face but, let me have it... Is this a losing battle? Please share your tips, thoughts, and experiences!
